Abstract

By bibliometric analysis of 1,233 literatures on College Students' Learning Burnout in CNKI database between 2004 and 2024, it reveals the research trends, hotspots and problems in this field. It was found that the research on Learning Burnout among college students began in 2004, and experienced four stages: preliminary exploration, rapid growth outbreak, steady development, and slow development with reduced heat, especially after the new crown epidemic, the research heat decreased significantly. Although core journals in the fields of psychology, medicine, and education have paid attention to Learning Burnout, the output of high-quality research papers still needs to be improved. There is a loose cooperative network of research institutions, a low density of cooperative networks of authors, and a limited number of high-yield authors. There are a wide range of research hotspots, including influencing factors, countermeasures, current situation, professional commitment, psychological capital, etc., but some of the studies lack depth and fail to form a systematic theoretical framework. Future research should strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation and integration, promote the output of high-quality research papers, build a close cooperative network of research institutions, promote cooperation and communication among authors, and address the challenges brought by the post epidemic era to promote the translation and application of research results.
